Recycling Meets

Heavy Truck Parts

The most effective way of recycling waste is to lower the demand of new part creation. Here at Vriens Truck Parts we see the value added to our environment as well as economy by reducing, reusing, and recycling when possible. As a result, reducing and reusing are the two most effective ways Vriens Truck Parts can contribute to saving our natural resources and providing a product to the market quickly and effectively.

Truck and part sales is the core behind our business, therefor we have focused our recycling efforts around those two business sectors. When embarking on a truck re-build project, we always turn to our inventory on hand, be it from a salvaged vehicle or our in-house refurbished products. Therefor reducing the carbon footprint on the supply chain for heavy truck parts.

We use the same reduce and reuse mentality when it comes to the resale of our refurbished heavy truck parts. We first turn to our salvaged parts on hand when refurbishing any of our heavy truck parts. It is only when salvaged parts do not meet the standard of quality that we turn to a manufacture for parts replacements. This in turn reducing the carbon footprint on the supply chain.

When the life of salvaged vehicle or part has come to an end, we take great care when dismantling the unit. All oil, fuel, metal, and plastics are handled appropriately and effectively. Oil and fuel are sent to a local recycler and given a second life. All metals; steal, aluminum, and copper are separated and sent to a local recycler. Plastics are collected by our waste management company and separated further for proper disposal and recycling.
